My homemade version of the common nut milks used on juice cleanses was just taken to another level in my vitamix! The almonds are so smooth I don’t even feel the need to strain this drink! It’s just soaked almonds, dates, cinnamon and vanilla bean blended on high for about 15 seconds !

Vitamix Blend of the Day: Bright Orange and Gorgeous
2 carrots
1 cup sliced peaches (frozen is nice)
1 cup water
1 inch of tumeric root
a sprinkle of pumpkin spice (for fall)
This one is simple but super refreshing. The spices and tumeric make for a nice detox effect, carrots are full of yummy vitamins, and the peaches add some sweetness.
This is a great late summer/early fall drink that is low calorie and high taste. A good way to jam some extra veggies into your day!
