Vitamix Blend of the Day: Carrot, Apple, Ginger Zinger
2 to 3 Carrots (depending on size)
1 cup natural/homemade apple sauce (no sugar added! If you use fresh apples about 1 to 2 apples, depending on size)
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1/2 cup coconut water
This treat is very high in Vitamin A, high in antioxidants, high in minerals, low in sodium, low in fat, low in calories, low in sugars.
LADIES: This one is great for women during their periods as both carrots AND ginger help stimulate blood flow and release to the uterus. If your cramps are getting you down, this is a great choice.
This can help with gas, upset bowels, sinus infections, and sore throats.
